After years (...and years) of crafting and grafting in agency world working with clients like Molson Coors, Whitbread, Coca-Cola and GlaxoSmithKline the things to do list got filled more with tasks far from the reasons I jumped two footed into agency world - spending time with clients and creating work. 

Out of COVID new ways of working became the norm, as did the number of emerging and ambitious independent brands on our supermarket shelves, bars and menus. Brands who would self-exclude themselves from the traditional ‘bloated and gassy’ marketing agency model still needed support, a break from marking their own homework to give them a fighting chance in some of the toughest categories and channels around.

Since setting up PJAMA in 2020 we’ve been focussed on trying to level the playing field for our clients via our Smart Heads, Not Overheads approach. We start with a blank sheet of paper and a guarantee of flexibility, speed and a break from the nonsence. Our clients get project sprint teams filled with ex-agency folk who are always in the work, and not part of the old agency bait and switcheroo.

The briefs we take drive action so we focus our time on creating compelling reasons to sip, munch or visit our clients' brands, and we even support them with distribution opportunities from our network when we can.
